Reflection — Building with Intention

My goal for this ePortfolio is to create an organized space that represents my work and development throughout this course. I want the design and content to reflect the same level of thought and professionalism that I intend to bring to my assignments. Setting up the Wix site was relatively straightforward, especially creating the basic pages and navigation. The more difficult part was deciding how I wanted the site to look and how to present information about myself in a way that felt both professional and personal. Building the site made me think more carefully about how design, organization, and language influence the way someone presents themselves online.

At this stage, I feel fairly confident in the professional appearance of the site, although I expect it to develop as I complete more of the course. I think the ePortfolio will be useful as a central place to organize my work, reflections, and progress in public speaking throughout the semester. While I do not currently have any major questions about the project, I am interested to see how the portfolio will develop alongside the course and how future assignments will be incorporated into it. My goal is ultimately to finish the semester with a portfolio that clearly demonstrates the work I completed and the progress I made as a communicator.
